The moment I realized
love can be taught.
I spent decades in education, loving children, loving families, believing that love was enough. And then I met Irene Greaves, the founder and author of Lovescaping, and everything shifted.
Working alongside her for five years with parents and teachers, I discovered something that changed me: love is not just a feeling. It is a practice. It is something we can teach our children through the way we listen, the way we repair, the way we show up even on the hardest days.
And my deepest, most honest thought? I wish I had known this when I was raising my own kids. That is what drives me every single day. I do not want another parent to miss what I almost missed.
I use Lovescaping as my coaching framework. And I also work with parents who have specific challenges and need a thought partner to think things through. This work is simple to understand and profound to practice. That is exactly what makes it so powerful.
